The industrial centre of the UAE is Sharjah with ports on both the Arabian Gulf and Indian Ocean. It delivers more than 40% GDP to the country mainly due to its strategic location. Sharjah earns the benefits of well connectivity with land, sea and air and is especially at apex in regards to the sea- air traffic division. This has led to a higher degree of growth in various sectors in the city ultimately giving birth to larger number of jobs in Gulf. It is always advisable that one introduces him/ herself to the city before taking up a job in Sharjah. It helps one become aware of the working and living styles of the people as well as the law and culture followed.

The products and services in Sharjah consistently offer speed, reliability and value for money. The primary reason for this stability is their industrial policy which is contrived in an extremely organized way. Another reason is that the government of Sharjah is steadfast and promotes growth by assessing proactive policies that offer secured industrial and infrastructural foundation to the businesses. Consequently, businesses enjoy the direct advantage of greater foreign investments thereby opening more avenues of jobs in Sharjah. The boost in economic growth offers monetary gains to both the natives of Sharjah as well as the expatriates.

The lifestyle in Sharjah is amiable and relaxing for its dwellers while the society is peace-loving. The beauty of culture in Sharjah is that it is a wonderful blend of tradition and modernity. It has retained the values of past while adopting contemporary ways at the same time. Sharjah can be considered a modern Gulf city that facilitates advanced technological and recreational means for everyone like shopping malls, museums, heritage areas, high rise buildings, etc. The natives and the expatriates live mutually and enjoy their jobs in Sharjah as well as style of living. The majority of population of Sharjah is concentrated in the city making it more crowded than other areas.

The cost of living in Sharjah is quite high especially if one considers moving with family. One should try to look for an employer who can pay for both accommodation and transport. Cost of renting rooms on sharing basis may get lower but if one moves with family, he/ she has to bear the entire cost. Kind of food is not a worry since there are plenty of restaurants and hotels in Sharjah. Also, the distance between Sharjah and other cities like Dubai is barely 15-20 kms.

The economy of Gulf majorly depends on oil and gas companies and same goes for Sharjah too. The discovery of oil and money that followed has led to the riches of Sharjah since long. But efforts are now being made to diversify the economy into other sectors and make it more industrially reliant. This will translate into creation of jobs in Sharjah in all the sectors from construction, IT, real estate to banking, teaching, advertising, marketing, etc. The jobs in Gulf will attract foreigners while locals are highly involved in business. The business sector is already on rise due to formulate government policies and huge foreign investments.

Apparently, a lot of growth and development of Sharjah's economy is due to happen. The people will indubitably get the absolute benefit in terms of both money and culture.
