Jobs in Gulf Cities
By Deepika Bansal
Persian Gulf is a popular region in the world today owing to its huge reserves for natural resources- crude oil, petroleum and natural gas. It possesses such huge reservoirs of oil and related industries that its economy is primarily driven by their exports. Along with the industries, oil and gas jobs in Gulf also multiplied with the discovery of world's largest single source of crude oil. As Government is all set to transform the oil rich economy into a wholesome one, job opportunities in Gulf have increased tremendously.
In order to reduce dependence on oil and gas industry, Governments in Gulf countries have found ways of generating income through other sectors. A Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is also formed by 6 states- Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE in view of their similar political systems based on Islamic beliefs and common objectives.
-Bahrain, the Kingdom of Two Seas, has the fastest growing economy in the Arab world and has been named the fastest growing financial center as well.
